You’ll Need:

  • 2 Clear Large Bowls
  • 2 Small Bowls
  • Rope
  • Ribbon
  • Garland
  • Fake Cranberries
  • Spray Paint (White, Gold and Primer & Brown are optional)
  • Glue (E6000 or Hot Glue)
  • Gold Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Drill w/ a drill bit & screw bit
  • Sandpaper

Directions: (video below)

1. Glue your two bowls together

2. Use sandpaper to rub down all the edges of your bowls. This is to help the spray paint stick better to the plastic.

3. Cover the bowls with primer spray paint first, then spray with flat or glossy spray paint.  I used flat.

4. Drill a hole in the top of your small bowl (top of ornament), just big enough to fit your rope.

5. Next spray paint the tops of the ornament with gold spray paint.  I wanted mine to look a little more like copper so I used a mix of both brown and gold spray paint.

6. Add your rope to the top of your ornament (small bowl)

7. Glue the gold top to your white bowls.

8. Using gold paint and DRY paint brush, lightly swipe the paint brush from top to bottom to make the details of the bowls pop out more.

9. Glue on some garland, a bow and fake cranberries and you’re done!
