Dollar Tree DIY – Haunted House

This DIY is cheap and easy to make.   You can get all of your supplies from the dollar store. 

 

You’ll Need:

**ALL SUPPLIES ARE FROM THE DOLLAR TREE **

• (2) Wood Houses
• Small and Large Popsicle Sticks
• Purple Lights
• Black Spray Paint
• Hot Glue Gun
• Ribbon or Jute (optional)

 

Directions:

1. Glue the large popsicle sticks to one side of the wood houses, on the thin side
2. Add Ribbon or Jute to the windows to make it look more creepy (optional)
3. Glue down purple lights around the popsicle sticks and windows.
4. Now add glue to the top of the large popsicle sticks and apply the 2nd wood house on top
5. Spray paint the house with black spray paint 
6. Brake off the ends of the smaller popsicle sticks to apply to the windows.  This will make it look like wood slats. 
7. Pant or spray paint these lightly.
8. Now glue them to the windows, 2-3 per window. Do not apply them straight, they should be slanted and some could cross one another.
