I found this great DIY glass cleaner and wanted to share it with you. I saw a ton of recipes similar to the one I’ve listed here on Pinterest, YouTube and on WordPress. I tested a couple variations and tweaked them to fit my needs and had a very surprising outcome.
We recently moved into a new house that has a glass shower and we’ve been having a hard time keeping the glass crystal clear. We clean it about once a week with Windex or shower glass cleaner but there is still a white film building up on a daily basis. This shower cleaner worked so well, I was shocked!You’ll Need:
1 Cup Vinegar
3/4 Cup Dawn Soap
Measuring Cup
Whisk
RainX (Optional)
Face mask (optional but highly recommended)
Directions:
1. Add the vinegar and dawn to a large bowl
2. Whisk gently
3. Microwave for exactly 1 minute
4. Whisk again…gently
5. Add to a spray bottle
6. Spray on shower doors, leave for one hour
7. Use a cloth or sponge to clean the glass. You shouldn’t need to apply very much pressure
8. Wipe down with a dry cloth
9. Apply RainX (optional). Follow directions on the bottle.
