Hike – Gregory Canyon Trail
Before I go into the trail detail, I want to warn you that there is very little parking. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of trying to find a parking spot or avoid walking a mile to the hike, I suggest you get their early.
I categorized this hike as moderate/hard because I am a little bit out of shape, so this was very hard for me. My boyfriend has an active job so he found it a little easier but said he would considered it moderate. Almost the whole hike is uphill and the trail itself is very rocky.
I brought my 7 year old and 9 year old and they struggled quite a bit. I also don’t feel that this is a good trail for dogs because of the rough terrain, it could hurt their paws. You could buy some dog shoes to eliminate this problem. Trail rules state that “dogs must be on a hand-held leash at all times unless they meet the voice and sight control standard and display a City of Boulder Voice and Sight tag.”
