Place chicken in your slow cooker.
In a separate bowl whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, chili paste, and rice vinegar. Pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
Remove the liquid from the crockpot and place it into a pot. Then whisk cornstarch into it. Cook on 5-10 minutes, until the sauce thickens a little.
Pour the thickened sauce over the chicken and mix.
