- Mix 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup washing soda, and 1 cup kosher salt in a bowl. Break up any clumps as you stir.
- Add ¾ cup lemon juice. It will fizz—this is normal.
- Stir until everything is evenly mixed and damp.
- Spoon the mixture into ice cube trays (about 1 tablespoon per slot) and press it down firmly so there are no air pockets.
- Let the tabs dry in the trays for about 12 hours, or until completely hard.
- Once dry, remove them and store in an airtight container.
