You’ll Need:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • Food coloring
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar

 

Directions:

  1. Start by adding water, oil & food coloring to a cold pot
  2. Add a few drops or 1/4 tsp of gel food coloring
  3. Mix everything together then add the flour, salt and cream of tartar
  4. Next, turn your stove on to medium and stir constantly
  5. After 2 minutes you should see it start to thicken and pull away from the sides. Once it starts to form a ball remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  6. Dump your play-doh onto the counter and begin to knead and roll it.
  7. You’re done. Enjoy!
  8. When you’re done playing with it, place them in ziplock bags to keep them fresh.
