HOW TO MAKE A LABOR DAY WREATH! | PINTEREST DIY
Red, White Blue Yarn
Pool Noodle
Duck Tape
Plastic Stars
White Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Sand Paper
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
Directions:
1. Tape the pool noodle together
2. Gather enough red yarn to cover a 3″ space. I wrapped the yarn around my fingers 35 times which was the perfect amount.
3. Wrap the red yarn around the pool noodle, keeping the yarn right next to each other as you wrap it.
4. Glue the end of your red yarn down with your glue gun
5. Now glue down the next color (white) right next to the end of your red yarn
6. Wrap the white yarn around the pool noodle, also cover a 3″ space
7. Glue the end of your white yarn down with your glue gun
8. Repeat by alternating Red & White until the pool noodle is 3/4 filled up.
9. Fill the last section of the pool noodle with the blue yarn
10. Sand your plastic stars & then paint them with your white acrylic paint
11. Use the hot glue gun to attach your plastic stars
12. Create a braid about 12″ long using your red, white and blue yarn.
13. Wrap this around the top of your wreath and tie the two ends together
14. You’re done! You can now hand your wreath up!
